About Gary Blanford
Often referred to as “the landscape designer they would hire again,” Gary Blanford has been passionate about the landscape profession since he was a young man, working in a landscape construction crew. It was this experience that inspired him to become a landscape architect.
Following his dreams, Mr. Blanford received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) from the University of Arizona in 1981. He worked overseas, where he developed an environmental approach to design and construction. After returning to the US and working as a landscape architect for 20 years, he decided to use his knowledge and experience to open his own company, Blanford Design.
Gary’s insight on working on large-scale environmental planning and design projects makes him a great asset in every project. Additionally, it has given him a profound appreciation for the integration of home and landscape into a wonderful, enjoyable environment.
